Early Separation Support

Get ready early. Settle well. Keep the kids out of the crossfire.

How it works

1. Free 15-minute call

Tell us where things are at. We'll suggest the right package, or point you elsewhere if we're not the right fit.

2. Your sessions

By Zoom or in person on the Gold Coast. Prep is one-on-one; co-parenting counselling can be together or separately. FDR Mediation can be initiated and the process explained. We shall match you with your perfect fit.

3. Your action plan

Checklists, worksheets and a written plan to take into mediation, negotiation or court.

4. Walk in ready

Need mediation, legal documents or a lawyer next? We'll connect you with the right trusted member or referral partner.

Why early matters

Most separations go off the rails before anyone reaches a mediator or a courtroom. We step in early with one-on-one coaching, so you arrive at your mediation prepared, calm and focused on what actually matters.

Less harm to the children and your own well-being

It's ongoing conflict between parents, more than the separation itself, that does the lasting damage. Getting calmer earlier protects them and yourselves. High conflict and stress lowers your parenting capacity. It also affects your day to life, working ability and over time, physical and mental illness. Protect what matters.

Holding Bills

Less money spent fighting

Organised, prepared people settle faster, and every month out of court is money kept for the family.
Put your money towards forming a successful agreement, whether for the children or your property settlement.
Not legal fees.

Important

GCMR's preparation services are coaching and education. They are not legal advice and are not family dispute resolution. Need FDR? One of our accredited practitioners will be in touch to walk you through the process. If you need legal advice, we can refer you to a trusted family lawyer.
